The Bunda Cliffs are one of Australia's most breathtaking natural edges - a place where land suddenly gives way to the endless blue of the Great Australian Bight. In "Edge of the After Glow", I wanted to capture that moment when daylight withdraws and the world becomes something quieter, deeper, and strangely more alive.
As the sun slips away, the cliffs shift into their evening colours - the ochres burn softly, the ocean cools into layered blues, and everything feels suspended in a rare kind of stillness. This is the hour where shadows stretch long, the sky holds it's breath, the wind stops, and the first notes of night emerge.
Painted in the same spirit as my "After Dark" series this piece explores that magical transition where the familiar becomes mysterious, and only those who pause long enough get to witness it.
A tribute to solitude, vastness, and the beauty found at the edge of the world.
